Mission Statement
MERF Statement of Mission and Purpose
The purpose of MERF is to serve in Arab and Muslim countries on behalf of reformed churches and believers worldwide as follows:1. Promote Communion
MERF promotes Christian fellowship for mutual encouragement and edification among Christian leaders in those lands who hold to the Reformed faith. This is designed to stimulate a true vision of service and a fervent zeal in witnessing for Christ.
2. Foster Cooperation
MERF is concerned to promote the unity of the body of Christ by helping Reformed churches in those lands work together as part of God's Kingdom.
3. Encourage Fellowship
MERF aims to bring Reformed and Presbyterian denominations together within those lands and to connect them with older Reformed and Presbyterian churches in other parts of the world.
4. Render Services
MERF aims to facilitate Christian service and ministry in the spirit of the unity of faith which binds faithful believers together and gives great opportunity to use spiritual gifts and share Kingdom resources.
